Course: TM 123 - Special Club Events Course Description: The course explains how to use special events for effective and diverse educational programming. How to plan special events, allocate the required resources, and stimulate the club membership. How to increase member participation by providing additional leadership and speaking opportunities. Length: 55 minutes Target Audience: Vice President Education (VP-E) Sergeant At Arms Course Objectives & Goals: At the conclusion of the course: a. the VP-E will be able to plan and set an educational agenda for several different special events; b. the Sergeant At Arms will be able to create a checklist for each special event to facilitate the arrangement of the room, selection and utilization of program materials; and the reception of guests and members; and c. all participants will be able to list several options for increased member participation and involvement.
