United Health Group, Club #1389
Celebrates their 40th Anniversary
|
The UnitedHealth Group Toastmasters of Hartford, Connecticut celebrated their 40th/10th Toastmasters anniversary celebration on Friday, February 16, 2007 in the UnitedHealthcare cafeteria. It was the 40th anniversary as Toastmasters Club 1389 (chartered on 12/01/1966) and our 10th as UnitedHealth Group Toastmasters. For 30 years prior to that we were the Travelers Evening Toastmasters.
A new member of our UnitedHealth Group Toastmasters, Harvey Schroeder, took the wonderful photos shown below. Quite a few visitors came from around the district to join in our festivities. A number of passersby stopped to listen as they enjoyed cookies, candy, and popcorn at the counter next to us. Even better, we also gained a new member after the meeting!
The United Health Group Toastmasters Club #1389 meets every 2nd & 4th Wednesday at noon at UnitedHealthcare, 450 Columbus Boulevard, Hartford, Connecticut, USA
