Fall 2007 Area D5 Welcomes New Toastmasters Club

Club #988118, Greater Bridgeport Toastmasters, Bridgeport, CT
The Greater Bridgeport Toastmasters Club meets at 12:00 pm every 1st and 3rd Wednesday at 350 Fairfield Ave 3rd Floor in Bridgeport, CT. The community Club is open to all who are interested in better communications and leadership. The club was chartered on October 10, 2007 and has been assigned to Area D5. The new club Mentors are Konrad Eldracher, CL and Brian P. Cavanaugh, ATMG. The club Sponsors are Raymond F. Durkin, ACB, ALB and John E Bate, CTM, CL.

Sikorsky (a subsidiary of United Technologies) and Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) have a new Toastmaster Club called Sikorsky & DCMA Toastmasters Club, Club 842294, chartered on Sept 30, 2005. The club meets every Wednesday at 11:30am at Sikorsky Aircraft Co. 6900 Main St, Stratford, CT. Membership restricted to Sikorsky and DCMA employees. The Club sponsor was PDG Joseph Carney, DTM. The Club mentors are Justin Paulin (who will serve the Club as VP Education) and Joseph Carney, DTM.

The Club meets at noontime every Thursday at The Stanley Works, 1000 Stanley Dr, New Britain, CT. The Stanley Works, an S&P 500 company, is a worldwide supplier of tools, hardware and security solutions for professional, industrial and consumer use. The CFS Orators Club meets at noontime on every other Thursday at GE Corporate Financial Services, 201 Merritt 7, in Norwalk, CT. The Corporate Financial Services (a unit of General Electric GE Commercial Finance) offers a wide variety of corporate financial products and services addressing financing needs across the business lifecycle. Membership is restricted to employees of GE Corporate Financial Services. The Club was Chartered on June 1, 2006 and assigned to Area D3.
