Bill Corbett, ACS

Toastmasters International is proud to announce that Bill Corbett, ACS, has earned the fifth Triple Crown for 2007-2008 in November 2007. He completed the requirements for Competent Leader (OCL) on 07/23/2007, Advanced Communicator Silver (ACS) on 07/27/2007 and Advanced Communicator Gold (ACG) on 11/12/2007.

Bill is our Speaker's Bureau coordinator and is the president of Mass Mutual Speakers and the VPPR of the Mass Mutual Club. Bill was a Contest Master at the most recent Fall 2007 Conference and a presenter at the last Spring Conference. He is an active member of three Division E clubs:

Marilyn Jess, DTM

Toastmasters International is proud to announce that Marilyn Jess, DTM has joined the elite group of Distinguished Toastmasters (DTM). Marilyn Jess, DTM recently completed all requirements for her Advanced Leader (ALS) award and filed for her ALS and DTM recognitions in September 2006.
      Marilyn served District 53 last year ('05-'06) as Club Rescue Chair and this year, she is the Youth Leadership Program Chair for D53. She is an active member of the Last Word Toastmasters Club #3853 of Pittsfield, MA. Marilyn is a mentor of the Voices of The Mountains, Club #660335; a new Club that was chartered in February 2006.

Galaxy Gabbers,

Westover Air Reserve Base has a new Toastmaster Club called Galaxy Gabbers, Club 836174, chartered on September 29, 2005. Westover Air Base flys and maintains the "Galaxy class" C-5 transport planes. The club meets at 11:30 am on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday at the Westover Club, Westover ARB, Chicopee, Ma. Membership restricted to reservists and civilian employees at Westover ARB. The Club Sponsors were Will Ryan, DTM and Andrew S. Biscoe. Andrew is also serving as Charter President of the Galaxy Gabbers. The Club Mentors are Freda F. Brown, CTM of Pioneer Valley TM and Area E2 Governor, Dennis L. Kunkler, ATMB.

The Voices of The Mountains club meets at 6:30 pm on the 1st and 3rd Thursday at Williamstown Financial Center, 296 Main St, Williamstown, Ma. Membership open to the community.
