- The 2006 District 53 Fall conference was truly a great experience. I would recommend participation in future conferences. I enjoyed the educational sessions and meeting other Toastmasters. The Humorous speech contest provided an outstanding evening of entertainment. It was definitely a full day and flowed smoothly.

- The 2006 District 53 Fall Conference was fun, entertaining, and educational. As we say in the South, "Ya'll done good!" It was well worth the drive from Lancaster, PA, to meet and visit with all ya'll. You certainly know how to make a girl feel welcome.
-- Nancy J. Holder, DTM, PDG, Presenter, Lancaster Red Rose Toastmasters, Club #1723, District 38
- The 2006 District 53 Fall Conference was great as all the Toastmaster conferences are. The contests were great. During the contests, I like to score the evaluations. After one or two humorous speeches, I folded up the paper and gave up. They were all 100%. I was glad that I was not appointed to be a judge.
-- Zinnia Konviser
- This weekend in Albany was exceptional. At this conference, my Toastmaster club and its members, made me proud to be a member of Toastmasters International and Bethlehem Club #542.
-- Ray Bell, Bethlehem Toastmasters, Delmar, NY

- The 2006 District 53 Fall Conference was different for me than the spring conference.
I came with questions and I received answers – without even asking. The presenters had values to share and I am thankful for that.
-- Ute Brinkmann, Middlesex County Toastmasters, Middletown, CT
- The 2006 District 53 Fall Conference was simply amazing! Club #6560 was the host Club for the Conference and we really enjoyed every minute of that role! Many Club members attended and
volunteered. The personal contact with other District 53 Toastmasters Club members and world class speakers was exponential in growth potential. The educational sessions were exceptional and the whole atmosphere charged with excitement. An experience I would recommend to every Toastmaster or
Toastmaster to be!

- The 2006 District 53 Fall Conference was another great example of the value of Toastmasters to all participants. From keynotes to educational sessions to contests to networking to speechathons to three square meals to a good night's sleep, the value provided for the few dollars invested is awesome. If you've never been to a Toastmasters District 53 conference, TRY ONE. I guarantee that you'll come back for more!

- The District 53 Conferences keep getting better and better! At the workshops I learned that will not only help me improve as a Toastmaster, but will help at my job as well. I thoroughly enjoyed the contests, and the speech-a-thon was a lot of fun as well. But the best part was meeting lots a great people from all over the District.

- The bar was raised and a new standard set at the 50th anniversary District 53 Fall Conference. It was an incredible day. The contests featured topnotch speakers with humor that was endless, and the education seminars were unparalleled. You would have to pay a king’s ransom to see so many great performances at one event. You will not find a better investment than a Toastmasters conference. Talk about a WOW factor!
-- Croix Sather, West-Conn Toastmasters, Danbury, CT
- Thank you for all the tremendous support and encouragement that I received at the fabulous District 53 Fall Conference. I am very grateful. This was my first District 53 conference but, God willing, it won't be last.
("TM" says THANK YOU! also.)

- The 2006 District 53 Fall Conference was outstanding. It was a great opportunity to share our experiences, sharpen the saw (Covey's 7th effective habit), and challenge ourselves to excel. It was a first time experience for me - to be chsosen to compete in two contests. The Conference and Anniversary committees did an exemplary job, and as a contestant, it was evident to me that prior planning by the committees made Nov 4th, 2006 a great day!
-- PDG Roger Brown, West Hartford Toastmasters, West Hartford, CT
- The 2006 District 53 Fall Conference was an action packed adventure. Wish we taped our conferences to remember the great things we heard and see what we missed. Great presenters and contestants.
-- Christina VanHoesen, Bethlehem Toastmasters, Delmar, NY
- The 2006 District 53 Fall Conference was the best district conference that I have attended. Beginning with superb educational sessions, excellent venue, catering and staff, program planning, speech contests, and capped with the excellent address by past District 53 Governor, Val Albert, DTM.
-- Lem Manchester, Windsor Toastmasters, Windsor, CT
- The Fall Conference in Albany was the best conference I've ever attended! Although I was not able to attend any of the education sessions due to my work load, I received outstanding feedback on their quality and content. This of course brought a smile to my face. Everything ran like a Swiss watch and that is due to the commitment of our leader, Jabbar Fagan and his team of dedicated volunteers.
-- LGET Will Ryan, Southern Berkshire, Great Barrington, MA
- The conference "crowd" had a great time and the educational sessions were well attended, and very relevant. A-plus
-- Robert Benn, Washington County Toastmasters, Fort Edward, New York
- The 2006 District 53 Fall Conference exceeded all my previous experiences. I limited my attendance to the Daytime events. The presenters all did an outstanding job and I wished they could have had a larger audience. I will not miss the next conference.
-- Konrad Eldracher, Park City Toastmasters, Stratford, CT

- The 2006 District 53 Fall Conference was another chance for me to reconnect with many wonderful and inspiring Toastmasters. But best of all to meet some new wonderful and inspiring Toastmasters, who I can reconnect with at the Spring Conference. It was fun, educational, inspiring, and way too short.
-- PDG Rich Couture, DTM, Greater Hartford TM and One State Street TM, Hartford, CT
- The 2006 District 53 Fall Conference was like going home - good food, good company, shared stories and plenty of laughter. Thank you !
-- Louise Alberti, Patroon Toastmasters, Lathm NY
- I've discovered that each district conference offers something new for me; each offers its own values. I was particularly delighted in the friendliness of the members and guests as they filled their free time with conversation. Everyone seemed to be enjoying just being there and networking with old friends and new friends. This year I discovered the enjoyment of seeing a lot of familiar faces and even some new ones that I hope to see six months from now at the Spring 07 conference. If you like being around positive people, a District 53 conference is the place to be.
-- PDG Frank Kane, Air Line Trail Toastmasters, Colchester, CT
- The 2006 District 53 Fall Conference was excellent. The 3 sessions I attended were very worthwhile. Not only did I enjoy them, but I found the information useful and uplifting. The whole conference left me with a very good feeling about Toasmasters, about how hard the volunteers work, and about the high caliber of the people involved in the organization. The dinner and ceremonies at the end gave perfect closure to the whole day. By that time I had gotten to know who was who and I had made some new friends. I plan to go to the next conference in May, 2007.
-- T. Joy Huott, VP Public Relations, North Country Toastmasters, Glens Falls, NY
- It was great being back in a classroom environment with an authentic Schoolmarm! Although she did have her ruler in her hand, it was clear that caring about the people in our clubs is the most important part of our job of learning and growing. As a not very young "First Timer," I was initially trepidatious about the quiz, but I quickly got into searching for answers. It gave me a nice requirement to find a number of different experts so that my answers were correct. I'm pretty sure that, if they had been graded, I would have won!
