Something New -
Geography and Geocodes
 Nigel Reed, Public Relations Officer from Plano, TX, District 50, has volunteered his time and resources to "geocode" and map all Toastmaster Clubs. You might ask, "What is geocoding?"
To geocode, is to take a street address and convert it into latitude and longitude (geographic
coordinates) so that it can be displayed on a map.
The end results are Google Maps with a pushpin marker for every Toastmaster club location.
When you click on the pushpin, Club contact information is revealed. It is still a work in progress;
not all pushpins are "perfectly" placed on the Google maps. However there is a procedure to follow to move your pin. Check out the D53 TM Club Atlas.
