Join us for your "Last Chance" Division C Officer Make-UP Training Session; co-sponsored by Area Governors Armelde Pitre and Leslie Frederick.

We will meet the standards for training new officers by ensuring the following subject areas are covered during this event:

• Understanding roles & responsibilities to give officers a firm foundation for their term and work effectively as a leadership team
• Applying concepts of effective leadership
• Answering your questions and stimulating discussion
• Providing tools to achieve Distinguished Club (or better)
• Encouraging planning & growth

Prerequisites:  Officers should read and review their officer handbooks/manuals in advance.

DRAFT AGENDA

6:00-6:15                Icebreaker game - “Officer Scavenger Hunt”   

Participants should identify at least one other person that they’ve never met before to partner with to help find the resources they need to meet a goal

Results will be tallied with a ‘prize’ going to the “team” or “pair” with the most points

6:15-6:20             Welcome & opening remarks  

6:20-7:00             Panel discussion:  experts/former division or area governors  talk about best practices to help boost attendance & participation, build membership, etc

                                    We will have 4 panelist (Nathan Jaycox, Rich Derksen, +?, +?) and one moderator (Armelde).                         

7:00-7:25             Officer Roles & Responsibility:  TM Jeopardy  

            Based on the TV Game with several categories:  Role, DCP, etc..

7:25-7:30             Closing & Credit for Attending
