What is a District Conference?

Basics
The three basic elements are:  the District Council meeting, Educational Sessions and Speech Contests.

District Council is the governing body of the District: the Presidents and VPE’s of all District Clubs and the District officers who present       budgets and reports at the business meeting.  Votes are taken on a variety of district business matters.

Educational Sessions - Attendees can choose from a variety of interesting educational sessions which are carefully designed to appeal to members' interests and educational needs.

Speech Contests - The Fall Conference features Humorous and Table Topics Speech Contests, featuring the best speakers in the District.

Who can attend?
Anyone who would like to!  District conferences provide exciting and beneficial learning opportunities for all. Many members bring their spouse or other guests to enjoy the day and evening together.

The best part…
While there are loads of activities and things to do, the best part of a district conference is meeting other Toastmasters, many who will become new friends sharing the journey.
