District 53 provides Club Officer Training twice each year. In the summer, officers attend Toastmasters Leadership Institute (TLI).  In the winter, the training is called Toastmasters Leadership Exchange (TLE).

Reasons to attend club officer training:

   *  Training is free, fun and educational.

  *  When at least 4 of your club officers are trained in the summer, and 4 are trained in the winter, your club achieves Goal #9 of the Distinguished Club Program (DCP) and adds one point toward becoming a distinguished club.  NOTE:  If all 7 of your officers are trained, your club receives an achievement ribbon for your banner.

   *  Elected officers have the opportunity to:

˜  Discover and share ideas that can help them become better leaders

˜  Discuss with other club officers the challenges their clubs may be facing

˜  Share experiences and solutions to these challenges with fellow club officers

˜  Meet district leaders and others who can assist them during their terms

Officers from any Division or Area are welcome to attend any of these trainings. All members are welcome to attend as well.  Dates and locations of TLI's, TLE's, and make- up sessions are posted on the district calendar.   Pre-registration is encouraged.  Questions can be sent to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
