 We Have REACH!-ed…We have achieved!
REACH!-ing for our highest aspirations has become a reality. We have started on a path together, planned and projected our success goals, and implemented the strategies necessary for our success. Now is the time to say “Job well done!” and “Thank you!”.
First, let me begin by saying to everyone on the District 53 REACH! Team this year, “Job well done!”. I could not be more honored than to have become a servant leader for our District with each of you. Our Area Governors, will always have a special place in my heart for their dedication and commitment to the tasks at hand, even through the course of many challenges, both personal and professional. Our Division Governors have grown and challenged themselves as well as their team of District and Club officers, enhancing the dynamic team we possess through their steady and sure administration. And our Sr. Team, Past District Governors and leaders of our District throughout the years, have come together as one to guide the team toward the District’s eventual success…one more time.
Our Clubs have stayed the course, proving that through their personal dedication, our entire District can benefit the rewards of their hard efforts. We are so very proud of our members!
Secondly, I must say “Thank you!” to each and every member of District 53. You have collectively proven that what makes true leaders, what it takes to be successful in any venture, is cooperation, communication and dedication as a COLLECTIVE unit. What an incredible year we have had together!
I will always be in awe of what can be accomplished when a group of individuals focus on a goal of success and inspire others, through their enthusiasm, to ‘take the journey’ together. This year, the ‘year of the member’, we have accomplished that well beyond what any of us perceived would happen. We have taken the opportunities for training, education and development, member retention, and new clubs to great heights, forging new and exciting paths to explore. We will continue that momentum now, to “Make A Difference” next year for ourselves, personally and our District, collectively.
The time we have spent together in 2002-03 was well spent, my friends, and I applaud each and every one who has made a personal commitment to themselves and each other. You have strived to be the very best, and have crossed the finish line together…that is all I could have hoped we would do this year…No matter what our eventual success goals are, we will always be a “President’s Distinguished District”.
Always remember to continue to REACH! for your highest aspirations with great enthusiasm for that is the key to any successful venture.
