Congratulations to the Top Speakers in District 53.
The International and the Tall Tales Speech Contests began in February as the 129 Clubs in District 53 selected their best speakers. Then the Clubs sent their best to one of the 29 Area level speech competitions and the Areas sent their best to one of the six Division level speech competitions. On the morning of the District 53 Spring 2007 Leadership Summit Conference in East Hartford, CT, six Tall Tales speakers representing the six Divisions, competed in the District 53 Tall Tales Speech Contest. Today we recognize the very best story teller and the best Tall Tale in District 53.
